Looking for a local source of high temp gasket material. The normal/recommended is either asbestos or fiberglass rope, but where to get in CM?? I can order from Yok from BKK, but with the songkrap holiday comming up, it could take weeks to get here. Anyone know of any local sources??

Perhaps an auto supply/repair shop, something used to make or repair exhaust manifold gaskets. That's what the McGuyver in me would do.

Oven gaskets are normally made of silicon , the tubes that u can buy in almost any builders shop will probably do . try it before serching for fiberglass or dangerous asbestos
