It's hot dip

If you ask for hot drip who knows what might happen.

Once dismantled every piece of galvanised metal from my ancient yacht, stanchions, chain, anchor, little bits, big bits. Only the standing rigging did I change for stainless.

Lot of work but boy was it worth it and ready for decades of use.
