Pebble Pools

Featured Replies

I wanted to take this opportunity and introduce our selfs as we have been a advertiser on Thaivisa for the last couple of months.

The pictures here are of a Pool that we recently completed in Phuket and it is a good example of what we can do with a old or new pool for that matter.

To begin with we removed the old tile and then cut about 15 cm of tile off the coping deck. The tile on that was used for the coping was house tile but the owner did not want to remove it as he just installed a glass enclosure so we did a rolled edge

Next we extended over the second step for a play area for his son and then applied 1 row of water line tile along with a row of step tile

Since the house tile coping was a brown color we decided to do a Sandy Beach Pebble Tec and carry that down the steps as to give a beach entrance effect and then we did Pebble Sheen Caribbean Blue on the sides walls and bottom

If anyone is interested in having there old tile removed from there pool or if you are building a new pool and want to conceder Pebble Tec please contacts us via our web site by clicking on our link to the right of this page or go to www.pebblepools.co.th also there is a lot of information on the web about Pebble Tec just do a Google search

Take Care. Steve

So this finish replaces the need to tile a pool ????? how much is it

Hi, sorry I have been busy and have not checked this for awhile.

The answer to your first question is yes, it replaces the tile though we like to put a row of water line tile and also a row or just some marker tiles on the step's and we can also do a Dolphin , fish or other design on the bottom incoperated into the Pebbletec.

With regard to the cost it depends on what you want. We offer standard Pebble Tec with the Pebbles comeing from mines in New Zeland to the full line of products from the USA that you see on www.pebbletec.com . Also we mix many different products from Albalone shell , Glass beads to real natural red Rubies which all effect the cost.

In general our cost is the same ball park as a medium / high grade of tile and from there it is at the top end of what high end Bali type tile would cost.

The other factor 's that come into play is how much do's your pool builder want to do ? If say you our pool builder prep's the pool so we are in and out in 2 days instead of 5 there is cost savings

If you are interested please send me a message thru my website by clicking the link here on thaivisa or call and I can break it down and for you then you can decide if it is right for you or not

Take Care
