New Book--Septic Need Some Assistance From Brit Posters On Dialogue

I hope this is OK to post here.

I have the first draft of a book, and the last few chapters have a British sergeant as one of the characters. I've used some rhyming slang as it has been explained here in ThaiVisa in other threads, but I've probably "ballsed up" his speech and other details. He's from Leicester, and i know some slang is regional, so I probably screwed that up as well.

The story takes place in Iraq in 2006, and the chapters with him are not that long, maybe 7,000 words or so. If anyone out there would be willing to take a look and tell me where I went wrong, I would really appreciate it. Just PM me and I'll send you a .doc file.

I lived in Leicester for a few years (lucky me!) and people there dont really use rhyming slang.
