That is also how I understand it, but I may be wrong. If the crypto already was in the Thai exchange, your capital gains are tax free, but remitting them and exchange right away is a different story. I'm happy to be corrected -

When you first started going out to bars while young what were your go to drinks?
To get drunk it was Jack Daniels on the rocks, otherwise it was beer or mixed drinks like vodka and cranberry. I quit in 2007, now I drink an occasional beer, and NEVER get drunk. Life has so much more to offer when you are sober. All the details you miss when drunk, plus avoiding jail for drunk driving (been there done that) -

Not quite. It appears remittance taxation rules are still in effect.....(if they can catch you). And since you only get the exemption if sending through a licensed exchange, they'll have records. They approved a CAPITAL GAINS tax exemption for crypto through 2029.
