Popular Post HeavyDrinker
I'd say most of the 'gloating' this season has come from Scousers to United fans. The irony is that now Liverpool will also finish with nowt. I have to admit that after Gerrard's premature running all over Old Trafford kissing everything in sight and his premature emotions a few weeks ago it is rather funny.

Chicog
That was probably the best chance the Mickey Mousers had to win the title. And they've blown it with two huge displays of tactical ineptitude. And mark my words, watch their points total drop next season when they have the same game and travelling schedule as the others in Europe. Meanwhile Chelski and Citeh will both go and spend 100m and stick two fingers up to Platini.

Players out v players in, considerably less I reckon.

And they've blown it with two huge displays of tactical ineptitude.Tactical ineptitude? OK, admit I didn't see the game last night, but tactically I don't think at three goals to the good, going out to get more was tactically a bad decision. Perhaps the players have to take the blame. Just because you press for goals doesn't mean you have to switch off at the back.

rijit
Dont think ive ever see such a totally mad reckless 15 mins.in such .a.crucial game. Bit late and pointless to point fingers, i'm sure they know, which tbh leaves me little sypathy for the players, cant argue with the result, but feel gutted for the victims of hillsborough, truly thought this title was for them. It does drive me mad the way that individual errors in games seems to bring out all the smart ar5es. The idea that managers can/should actually foresee them, and plan for them, is just daft. After the Liverpool Chelsea game we had the smart ar5es who were making out as if Mourinho had it all carefully planned, genius that he is, that Gerrard would slip, and that they would score. What a load of tosh. Still, there were enough Liverpool supporters trotting out the same gloating tactical mastermind crap a while back when Jones stuck out his harm and gifted you chaps a goal...

And for next season, not only do i see Liverpool struggling hard and failing to repeat this season's performance, i see Everton also sliding down the table. It's what happens to teams who punch above their weight and are asked to be good chaps and just carry on punching like that. Never works.
P45Mustang
Need insurance policy. All the time you are banging them in you need to take care at the back. Looks to me like Brendan had insufficient cover. Blame Skirtel and Sacko if you wish. Players aren't perfect. Strengthen defence in the window, continue the attacking mentality. My guess is that is what Liverpool will do. Could be totally wrong. Liverpool fans can set me straight, no problem.

No, I think when you're winning 3-0 away in the 75th minute, you have to secure the points, after all City have two games to play and as we have seen, teams slip up.......badly! Fifteen minutes to go and this draw should never have happened. Take two players off and bring on two experienced defenders to sure things up at the back, the points are vital. If it is reckoned, that means Liverpool can't score any more goals then there are some serious flaws that I don't know about, because IMO there was still enough talent out there to get more goals.
