I have been tracking my insured usps package from texas to pattaya on the Thai Postal website and the current status says delivery attempt failed AO UDOM. I went to the AO UDOM Post Office and they said they have my package but I have to wait intill a recive a card in the mail to come pick it up. Today I received a notification to collect international items, and It says I need to come pick it up at Laem Chabang Port Customs Office, But it doesn't list the contents of the box are the amount of tax that's due.

Has anyone ever had this Issue and are they just waiting for me to open it in front of them so they can assess the value and calculate the tax ?

you guess is as good as mine when they ask for tax ... just be prepared

Just raise a big stink and the will waive the fees....(just kidding)
