According to the information on Lightrocket it was contributed by the Royal Archives http://beta.lightrocket.com/preview/109081?sid=101&cpos=6 how you actually obtain the 5,265 x 3,668 pixel file is not clear

According to this article in the Washington Post http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2007/06/12/AR2007061200109.html the Royal Archives were to be placed on-line, can't find them though (if it ever actually happened).

The biggest file I can find is 560x390 pixels (the file in the OP), probably just about OK at A4 size using a decent interpolation program but it's a fairly old and grainy image anyway.

Thanks for taking the time to reply and for the link, I will try to find out more from them.

As to file size, indeed it is the largest file I can find. I do not know of interpolation, do you know of a shop I might be able to approach in Bkk that could try this technique?

If you have any photo editing software most can do image enlargement using various interpolation routines. Time for a play and experiment with printing the result.
