Mr ? Mister?

A friend of mine opened an account in a Thai bank a couple of years ago. They asked him his name, which I'll change for obvious reasons. He told them, Mr Joe bloggs. On receiving the passbook, it said, Mister Joe bloggs. He never thought much of it, till a couple of years later, attempting to draw money, was told, not same name in passport. First name Mister, you Joe.

This problem took an age to sort out, involving phone calls to the head office, and lots more.

How could a bank of all places make a mistake like this? I know it's funny, but these things happen all the time here. :D:o

His own silly fault.

My name is Joe Bloggs is the answer, not Mister Joe Bloggs,

unless he was cross dressed at the time.

He should have queried it when he got the book.
