Work Permit, No Evidence Of Education. Help

Featured Replies

I have been working in sales and marketing all my life ever since I left school at age 14,

I didn't graduate high school and didn't attend college.

I have just worked for 25 years in different jobs related to sales, marketing and advertising.

I always got work based on my previous employment recommendation letters and my sales figures.

but now I have been asked to come to thailand and work here in marketing,

but I have read the visa rules and they want letter of recommendation from previous employer which is not a problem.

but they are also asking for Evidence of Education! which obviously I don't have.

is there a possible solution to over come this?

thank you

They will want to see your highest educational degree, which would be elementary school in your case. There is no rule that it must be a university degree, although some labour office will have a different opinion on that.

Have the company check with the labour office if it will be a problem.

A degree or diploma is not required unless the job description requires it.

In your case a good resume showing your experience should be enough.

letters from various companies stating that you are an an expert in your field will be a distinct advantage
