You may lose the battle on this one but try to win the war. Recently a number of countries have signed free trade agreements with Thailand including Australia and the USA. Get a few MPs involved. Tell them that Thailand is not honoring the spirit of the FTA by not making things easier. Also get the manufacturers of your products involved as well. Let them do the work. If its an election year the polis will most probably take it on as this issue is non threatening to them. If that fails write to PM Yingluk, she is very approachable and a easy to talk to.
