What Frog Is This?

Featured Replies

Can anyone help me what kind of frog this is? It's discovered in Phetchaburi.

I think that one's the same as the ones I see occasionally in Phuket - they sure do jump a long way!

The l is 'long legged frog' in Thai, according to my wife who will eat anything, same thing as Four-lined tree frog.

I guess it isn't venomous?

Not poisonous but I am informed that it is inedible so I'm afraid you'll have to let it go!

It rained early this morning and my wife had me go with her and pick up the frogs that were crossing the road near our house. There were 100's of them. Guess Pad Krapow Gop is on the menu at her restaurant today!

I have lots of them in my plant pots, even in those suspended from the ceiling. Last refuges of wet soil I guess, will be gone when the rains start.
