Need advice from those experience transfering money from US curreny to Thai curreny. We plan to buy condo in Thailand so will be tranfering large sum of money from the US Bank to Thai bank.

What is the best way in term of rate and cost?

1. go to a bank

2. open an account

3. transfer money electronically from US account to Thai account

It really is as simple as that.

To have a condo registered in your name, you will need to transfer in USD with the conversion to Baht being made in Thailand, and you must ensure that your US bank clearly indicates that the transfer is for the specific purpose of buying a condo.
