Limbo
Can anyone tell me where I might find Automotive T-cut or cutting polish in Chiang Rai area ?.I have looked in Nan but the Thais give me that stupid Farang look !. Many Thanks, Regards, B. Dear Cyrano, I might have given you the same look Automotive T-cut ? Cutting polish ? In Nan of all places ? This is the most intrigueing posting of the month, that's for sure ! Please enlight us (or am I the only one puzzled ?). Limbo PS. Don't eat canned bamboo-sprouts from Nan. Yesterdays Bangkok Post mentioned an epidemic botulism in Nan, which supposedly is caused by consuming this product. Limbo
Hi Limbo,Basically I want to polish my car and need to know where to buy car polish . Cheers, B. What a relief! I started to have serious doubts about myself. As far as I know there is one shop specialized in this. A friend went there with a four year old car full of schratches of roadside vegetation and it came out 'showroom new'. They sell the materials as well. Coming from Chiang Rai town (King Mengrai Monument) on the superhighway it is about fifty meters before the last traffic light, in the middle of the last block at the left side before the bridge. Easy to miss. Next to it is a lawyers office and a simple Muslim restaurant. You can drive in. By the way: The last door of this block gives you entrance to the rather shabby shop of one of the finest barbers in town. I really can recommend him. He is Muslim and completely bold. He does a fine job for thirty Baht. I am a customer as long as I remember. Maybe you can combine the one and the other . Good luck! Limbo.

Joel Barlow
Off topic a bit for sure, but I've been wondering about that (of course not bothering then to go to my many dictionaries...). Can 'gut ngou' be used for polishing up a manuscript or polishing up your act too?
