Animal Chips (Rfid)

Featured Replies

does anyone know a VET can implant Identification ships for animals ?

in Europe this is pretty much law, so anyone will do that, but here ... its hard to come by.

badly no VET in europe will "just sell me " the chips as well .. dead end road :(

any idea ?

What is your true objective?

Few vets in Thailand have the equipment to read pet RFID tags, also there are several different systems/types of RFID tag used across the world, I do not believe that Thailand has adopted one system yet.

Much more common is an ear tattoo to identify one animal from another.

You might have some luck looking at the pet magazines or talking with companies that assist in the export of pets as generally there is a requirement for the exported pet to carry a unique identifying tag or tattoo before being allowed into the destination country..

Thanks,

The true objective is to identify my cats as individuals in a automated manner.

I want to let 1 cat out of the house but the other one not,

All my cats to be able to get home at any time but not invite others with them.

The chips are painless (even implanting them not really hurts) and they not need a collar.

Everything is thinked trough, just the problem left that i can not get the tags for my Beasts :(

I called serval pet stores in germany, no luck

Also dome Vets, no luck either,

The petstores not have them and the Vets want to sell them only along with the implanting-job :(

Collars are the solution, there are systems sold that do exactly what you seek.
