wjhall
My wife has a house in Khon Kaen which she is in the process of selling. She lives 1500km away in Songkhla. On the date the buyer wants to complete the purchase she will be recovering in hospital , in Songkhla, from a serious operation and will be totally unable to travel. Does anybody know if it is possible for the transfer to be carried out without her being physically present at the Land Office. I would have thought there might be a procedure where she could swear a document in front of a notary or the Thai equivalent. Any help or advice much appreciated. rayongchelsea
Power of attorney. Relate it just to that specific transaction of sale. Edited May 9, 2013 by rayongchelsea
BrianCR
Yes by using power of power of attorney and notarized. However that has better be someone you can really trust as I assume payment will take place at the same time?
simonrex
Yes why not you can do with power of attorney of any trusted person so you can sell your property. In power of attorney you have to mention the reason of absence.
