Fast Track Thai Visa In Laos?

Featured Replies

I have tried to phone the embassy to no avail - got lost in automatic replies! I just wondered if anybody knows if you you can pay extra to have a visa application speeded through as - due to flight times and standard process of dropping off passport one morning and picking up the following afternoon - I will need to spend three nights in Vientiane. Not a great hardship but it would be good to know if there are options.

There is no special services available that I know of.

It is going to be apply morning of one day and get back the next afternoon.

No special services available. I have seen agents with half a dozen passports in their hands told no, no one day service.

Once upon a time just over a year ago, had been a holiday the previous day, my fault. Applying for Non B again, they told me they could not accept money to process the visa in the same day, in Vientiane, unless their was some emergency, they could not issue a same day visa.

My Thai g/f also a teacher told them we are both missing time from work in Thailand. The woman in the Embassy, told the g/f write that down on a piece of paper, go outside get a copies of the letter addressed to us,copies of your I.D. and or your passport if you have it and bring them both back.

No money, they told me to come back at 2:30 the same day, a little later than the 1p.m. pickup.I apologized and thanked them.

I was at the Thai consulate in Vientiane last week. There is a big sign on the wall in English that says, "No urgent visas".

Thanks for this. I guess I'll just have to relax and enjoy my three day enforced holiday ;-)
