I thought all frogs are green in color!.....guess not :o

Do you sell them? Do Thai eat Frogs (legs)...?

If not, milking time must be quite interesting. :o

Frogs come in rainbow of colours

I was never into frogs myself until I became a frog farmer. :D

But don't ask me to hold any in my bare hand. :o:D

Where do you sell them Gisele. Is it mainly to hotels etc for people to eat? Amazing!

I have to say most of them are cute......but some are very quite ugly indeed.

Since you mentioned about the frogs I just remember about eating some frog dish in Kanchanaburi.

Let's see what did I eat......BBQ frog legs with Somtom and Yum Frog legs ......and I have to admit there were quite delicious! Only the legs though….but never ate the whole body.

Just remember another thing…..

While I was living in Thailand 25 yrs ago in BangKapi-BKK, on one weekend - one of my thai friends took me to somebody rice farm nearby and we would be chasing the fat rice farm rats for a few hours and then BBQ them afterward – they were also so delicious – taste like chicken…..I think they’re quite clean though unlike the city sewer rats. You all should try it sometimes!

We sell them to the market.

As we are expanding, we want to export to Taiwan .

Next time you go to the fish market, check it out, some stalls will sell the frogs from a big bassin, I've seen frogs in markets in Samui.

They kill them right thare in front of you :D , then cut them up if you want.

I don't like to look, like any other meat it's best for me to not think of it when it was alive. :o

Hi all

Just to add to original thread ... me Information Technology Manager (why doesn't it like I T Manager?). Still in UK but we (me and hubby) hoping to move to Thailand in 2008. Father in law in Thailand and having visited we like it ... a lot ... and Thai family seem to be really nice ... even managed to pick up quite a bit of the language in the time we were there ... probably more than father in law who has lived there for 5 or 6 years in some respects! Need to build up some sort of business though if we move out as a) need something to do :o extra money would be good!

Been lurking for ages but only just picked up courage to sign up and post!
