Border Runs To Nong Kai

Featured Replies

Please can any one tell me how many border runs you can do for a 15 day stamp before you get a refusal or red stamp.Does any one know the true answer to this question as it would be greatly appreciated if they could enlighten me.

There is no official limit. But after several times immigration can ask you about your purpose in Thailand and make sure that you are not working illegally.

Mai Sai was reported has having a limit of 4 entries, other crossings not.

Ok thanks for the reply, i hear so many stories and can never get a sure answer but how can they check if i some one is working illegally<i am not>

They can ask questions about the purpose of your visit, if you have money etc.

Why not just go on into Vientiane and get a 2 entry tourist visa.

Cross over early morning, apply for visa, spend the night, pick up visa that afternoon and return to Thailand.
