I would like to buy Mr Fleetcat a decent telescope for his birthday. Does anybody know a reputable place I could purchase one?

I would also like to by some indoor and outdoor rugs for my home. Something funky and modern but quite large (200 x 300). Any thoughts?

Haha. Hilarious. Shouldn't post before coffee in the morning. I do of course mean ASTRONOMICAL telescope. I think an astrological one could make me a fortune ;-)

I think you probably mean an astroNOMICAL telescope. Telescopes don't tell your fortune...

    Make sure to buy one that automatically reorients the telescope to the right Zodiac sign.

    You will be severely restricted as to what you can see in the night skys of Bangkok due to light and particulate pollution.

    I bought a 12" truss tube Orion from Darasart Center http://www.darasartcenter.com

    Nice bloke, astronomy teacher that will show you how to set it up and operate it.

    I think Classico is probably also a reputable dealer but was quoted a bit higher price for the same scope from Classico. Classico later called me and said they would discount the price but I already confirmed the order with Darasart.
