the ferry takes about 30mins to cross, never traveled from the airport to ferry, white sands is the buisiest resort stayed there a few times, but everywhere is quiet nice and peaceful, last time I stayed at coconut beach resort prices range from700bht to 3000bht per nite bungalows are nice ask for one on the beach, www.webseiten.thai.li/coconut :o

KF123 Not sure about trat airport location but as Kho Chang goes white sands beach is by far the best stretch of beach and also the most built up....... Places cover most price ranges .... from 250 bht for a hut with nothing else to over 3000bht for all the trimmings..... it's up to you.

The airport is apparently about 10km from the ferry,

Trat Airport

When I went last year I did the +2 hr ride from Patters to the ferry.

Stayed at the Barali, (Klong Prao Beach), quiet and very nice, reasonably priced, gorgeous beach,

I'll definitely fly from Bkk to Trat next time, :o

Trat Airport, itself worth a visit, is about 10 minutes or so by road from the ferry. There are minibuses and pickups running from the airport to the resorts at just a couple of hundred Bt plus ferry toll.

It's a very pleasant part of the trip. Enjoy.

If you are booked into a resort they should send a minibus/songtaew to collect you.

The airport is just a few minutes from the nearest ferry and there's plenty of transport when you get there

Airport is about 10-15 min from the car ferries, plenty of transport available, the crossing itself is THB 50.- per person. Last ferry 7.00PM.

Found Coconut Beach just fine .
