Applying For A Thai Passport

Featured Replies

I would like to take my thai lady friend on a holiday to Indonesia and thus she needs to apply for a passport. She lives near the Jomtien area of Pats where her family have a business.

Could you advise the logistics for her applying for a passport. i.e. cost, where to go, how long does the whole process takes.

many thanks

Needs her ID card, herself, and 1000 baht + 30 baht for delvery to home. Passport received in 3 days.No forms to fil in.

Someone will be along shortly to tell you where in or near Chonburi she can apply.

Can't do it online. Need to apply in person given the biometric nature of the passports.

As far as I can find the nearest passport office for Chonburi-Jomtien area is Central Department Store in Bang Na. The MFA does not list a temporary office in Chonburi.
