Water Marks On Ceiling

Featured Replies

Hi Folks

Does anyone know if "Stain Block" or a similar product is available in Thailand

I have asked at several decorating stores, but just get blank looks

Any Knowledge will be very much appreciated

Assuming that you've already dealt with the leak or other cause of the stain. You could try Dulux Weathershield (ICI) 'Power+ primer' It's sold at Boonthavorn on the Sukhumvit Road and HomePro in Big C Extra (maybe other places too.

It stops just about any stain/mould showing through.

Boonthavorn has a good range of paints, so you might find a product there especially for water staining. Personally, I'd still use the Dulux.

You can use the dulux weathershield but first make sure that you treat the affected area with oil based paint preferably an oil based sealer binder but if this is not available oil based underfoot will do the job.

Try explaining that to the shop assistant.
