Creature In My Yard 2

Featured Replies

Thanks for the postsCreature.mp3 on identifying the Tokay Gecko. Now I have what seems to be new

group of creatures living in the banana trees right next to the kitchen window.

Can you identify? Thanks again.

Missing a photo?

I can hear the tukay call and some birds singing, But That is all

That's about all I can get also. Perhaps the OP hears the Tokay's start up rattle sounds as a separate creature.

It's a very dangerous and poisonous W. African musical note. Be very careful. The best way to deal with it is to wear earplugs. tongue.png

Sorry, new file attached......Any ideas? Thanks

Frogs.

yup, similar to the ones which come out after rain.

It`s either my wife gargling or frogs.

Start to worry when you hear something like this in your yard:

no need to record it for us to I.D., just close the door on the way out.

It sounds like it might have a virus.

The uku virus.

(Is it safe?)

Ask yourself; Is he joking; being sarcastic or being serious?

Mother-in-law blowing her nose?

Had creatures like this in a hotel I was consulting for in Africa. They had a large pond. They were loudest outside the main suite - the chairman's favourite room - and used to drive him potty.

One day he was in a particularly bad mood and called in some 'experts' to eliminate them. They came back with some kind of chemical and pronounced the problem solved.

Next day all the fish were dead and the frogs were louder than ever.

Thanks, They sound like monkeys, loud!

The form majority identify as frogs.

If they don't bite, sting or sneak into the house

to steal things then I am ok with that.
