I am scheduled to arrive in Thailand on April 5 and planning on catching an Asia Air flight to Udon Thani on the 9th. I found out that Nok Air now offers flights between CM & UT once a week on Sunday. I haven't been to Chiang Mai so I thought I would take Air Asia from BKK to CM early on Friday and then catch the Nok Air flight to UT on Sunday evening. With only 2 days available in CM on a weekend, I was wondering if anyone would recommend any "must sees". Of course there are the usual things that the hotels endorse but I would be also be interested in anything unique and authentic including dining/entertainment venues.

Thank you in advance
