Pattaya/photo Accessories Local Market.

Featured Replies

G'Day every gentle person. I would greatly appreciate if someone can share few tips where I can possibly find a store in Pattaya with a broad choice of lenses, such as Nikkor, Sigma etc. Can such items be purchased online and then delivered to Pattaya, sort of eBay deal? Thanks a lot.

There is a camera shop in Big C second road (near to the entrance of the supermarket on the first floor) which has a limited supply of lenses. But the selection if very small.

I would suggest a trip to MBK in Bangkok which has a few shops selling a wide range of lenses.

www.fotofile.net is the web site for one of them; maybe they would deliver for you; but you may find a day trip to BKK more productive.

Hope that helps

Thanks for that, Hugh! One more reason to pay a visit to Bangkok, like there are not enough of them already!

There is another specialist photoshop in Bangkok. Take the Skytrain to the River (I forget the name of the station). Walk away froom the river and there is a Robinsons, turn down the Soi before it and there is a well stocked camera shop for Film CCameras of all types. (Not a digital in the building!). You can see they sign in the rooftop as you come into the station.

In Pattaya, try the Kodak shop opposite Soi 7. Not sure - may be their museum items.
