My preference would be Rangoon because there are so many good English language stories and books written about Rangoon. It seems so much more exotic than Yangon. But I would also like to know which is considered by the readers to be the preferred and correct name. And also, of course, how you best fly there when you decide on the name of where you are going. I believe coming from the night Bazaar they are on the opposite side of the street as the Shangrala before you get to it. Not for sure about the before part but I am sure they are close.
