I've had a similar pair for years. Problem is, if you are walking on unpaved areas, dirt, small rocks, etc, end up under your feet. Very uncomfortable.

I guess if you were mainly walking in water, it'd be OK. Or if you were mainly walking on paved areas. Otherwise, I hardly every wear mine. Just too uncomfortable.

I agree with Craig - not useful for walking, but I do use them as motorbike shoes as they offer a little more foot protection than thongs (or flip-flops or...)

And as to use in water, well when they are wet they are heavy, and take forever to dry again.
