KABUL, AFGHANISTAN (BNO NEWS) -- A suicide bomber killed ten children and two American soldiers in southeastern Afghanistan, officials said Monday.

The attack took place on Monday at noon in front of a school in the Chamkani district bazaar, located in the southeastern province of Paktia when a explosive-rigged motorcycle detonated.

The NATO-led International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) said two service members were killed, although their identities were not immediately disclosed. In the statement, it said one ISAF civilian was also killed.

While Afghan security officials also confirmed the deaths of the two American soldiers, Brigadier General Zalmai Oryakhel told Pajhwok Afghan News that ten students were also killed, while fifteen others were injured.

No group has claimed responsibility of the attack, but such attacks are commonly blamed on Taliban forces.

Yet more sickening violence from the followers of the "Religion of Peace".

Sickening murders by radical Islamists, most likely the Taliban. Also other radical organisations supported and trained by elements in the Pakistani military and intelligence agencies, funded by Saudi Arabia. Those in the villages & towns who resist the Taliban in any form are killed.

If you can be bothered to understand the hatred of the Taliban by the general population in Afghanistan, read Sandy Gall's latest book "War Against the Taliban"; it's one of the topics. He's a journalist who has been covering and visiting Afganistan since the Soviet invasion.
