I am due to do a land crossing and return the same day as my current double entry tourist visa is about to expire.

My question is can I do a simple land crossing to get a 15 day visa on arrival and how many times can I do this?

What are the requirements other than the usual must have current passport and at least 6 month before it expires?

Thanks in advance. I have never done a VOA before.

Please provide infomation such as your nationality,

Most western and Euro country passport holders can cross over to laos, myanmar or cambodia and return same day. VOA is simple in laos fill the form pay usd 35 (depends on nationality) get a visa. Go in to laos and you can return in an hour or 2.

Actually, most nationalties don't receive a 15 day VOA, but rather are given a 15-day visa-exempt permission to stay. They don't receive a visa. It's called a visa-exempt entry.

You will get a visa exempt entry, which is something different.

You get 30 days on any entry by air and 15 days on any entry by land. No other requirements

There is no official limit, but recent reports suggest that immigration at least at some crossings is limiting it to a maximum of 4. By air no limitations are reported.
