Obtaining A Joint Custody Letter From The Court - Question

Featured Replies

I am in a happy relationship with a Thai woman and we have 2 children (they have my surname) but we haven't got around to getting married yet.

I want to apply for a 1 year 'non' O visa from the UK but they have told me if I am not married to the mother of my children I will not get the visa so must obtain a joint custody letter from the courts , then that would suffice, along with a copy of the childrens birth cert's

So, does anyone here know how I would go about getting this letter? Is it something that should be fairly straightforward?

Cheers,

H&H

I would think the Amphur would handle that, Contact them.

If they say no check several times with several staff as they often don't know what they are able to do and what they are unable to do.

Ok, cheers. I was explaining this to my missus not long after this post, and she said to me 'why don't we just get married instead' my reply was a shrug of the shoulders followed by a mumbled 'yea I suppose we should' Who was it that said romance is dead?
