Forum software upgrade on Sunday June 9, 2013

Upgrade of our forum software will happen on Sunday in a window between approx. 7pm and 10pm Bangkok time (GMT +7).

The upgrade will take about 1 hour, with expected downtime to be less than that.

All reported bugs and issues are expected to be fixed in this version. Thanks for your feedback!

Well if it is feed back I will mention that most of the time when I hit the read last read post it goes way beyond it.

    I have only just seen this message after posting questions regarding a problem with the (My!) system. Is there no way this warning could be made more general on all forums or as a banner headline, or have I missed something?

    Here is one for you though that seems to have changed ...

    YouTubes (well, the one I posted anyway, now no longer display as a within the post.

    I did embed it using the chain link thingy in the tool bar.

    See this example. (my post in the Travel Forum)

    The link works ... just takes you outside the Forum.

    I have noticed that the side panel on my profile page does not work. I get an “action failed” notice when clicking anything under Overview.

    There is an issue with links on profile pages. Webmaster will fix it today.

    We will take down the system and do a few adjustments shortly, Forum will be down for 5-15 minutes approx.

    Speaking of changes ... I've noticed that now the topic does Now Not Have Every Word Start With A Capital ... but lower case is used as well.

    OH ... I do like the Darker (almost black) bar at the top of page now ... much better for the contrast.

    Multiple indent and multiple colour change still not working. I use these offered facilities in order to make somewhat complex posts easier to read.

    Show the tech people this post so they can see the length needed to go to in order to get the desired outcome.
