I hope your original post is not a code for some nefarious sexual activity, but if you want a real knife sharpener, there is one I see most days in the passageway next to the Beer Garden at Big C. Hope this helps.

If you fail to find your man then you can always purchase a steel knife sharpener for a few baht in Big C located in the cutlery section along the back wall........in fact at the moment they are selling a complete boxed set of kitchen knives, (German make) which consist of a large carving knife graduating down to a small fruit knife including a sharpener for 229 baht.

is that really from germany, or does it just have it written on the knives...

I have always understood that those steel sharpeners that come with carving sets, etc. are not the best. According to what I've read, these will put an edge on your knife but not one that will hold. If you do any carving, etc. the knife quickly becomes dull again.

Myself, I bought a stone at an OTOP show or something a couple of years ago. I use that to sharpen my knives and it works very well. I have fairly good knives (not the cheapies from the grocery store) and the stone puts a lasting edge on them.
