Great place and great food at reasonable prices .The Lamb kebab did not taste like lamb to me though .At B129 and B149 i was not really expecting it to be real lamb .

Definatly Lamb but he uses NZ Shoulder I believe and back in the UK the correct bodypart for Doner is the underbelly which has quite a lot of fat so that is the difference your probably noticing.

I spoke with Rob the first time he put them on but he cant get the underbelly here so he used shoulder instead either way it was great and the closest thing you will find to the UK Doner in CM

  • 2 weeks later...

Just back from my Kabab Platter.

Top notch grub, 4 styles of meat, a large Nan, salad and four sauces.

All for B175 a most excellent price for the punter.

Feel like a stuff pig.

Will be there next week to sample Rob's Mixed Grill.

Needed an urgent shower after some exciting muddy downhill action, so I took the doener meat home and just had it with my favourite salad/cabbage mix and yoghurt garlic sauce in a fresh ciabatta.

Priceless ...!

July 20th is already marked in my calendar.

Went and had my first SK Lamb doner/donor/donna (whatever) kebab yesterday.....bloody fantastic. And I will likely be back in 2 weeks time for another one. Great service, good food and amazing price. Well done Rob, all credit to you and your staff
