It really doesn’t seem to matter what the original posting/subject is
about, many [self-righteous] forum posters soon get off-topic and use it for a
soap-box to exhaust what seems to be some pent-up frustrations over something
[often] completely different.

I've read the OP's title ... I read the long OP ... I read the OP's title again ... I feel more then a slight dis-connect between the two ... blink.png

Indeed you have maybe done the perfect example with this OP of what you accuse others of in your opening line of ... "It really doesn’t seem to matter what the original posting/subject is about, many [self-righteous] forum posters soon get off-topic"

If you are complaining that despite the OP ... posters quickly take the thread in a different tangent ... that's one of the reasons we have moderation.

I have deleted the off-topic part of the opening post of this topic.

IDL, if you wish to discuss teaching in Thailand please start a separate topic in the Teaching in Thailand Forum.

True many do get of topic and it has been my experience that there are times when they are so far off the Mods delete them.

Many years ago in a far away land I was a scout leader and a cub leader. In Cubs we would sit the kids in a circle and whisper some thing in the ear of one and he it turn would turn to the fellow next to him and whisper in his ear. It would go all the way around the circle and what came back had nothing to do with what started out. So it is the same here on Thai Visa at times.

I believe it was my Psychology Instructor who said in discussion you do not try to control the subject you let it go where it is going to go.

As almost everything posted so far has been off topic or pure trolling this topic is now closed.
