Access To Internet

Featured Replies

I've got a new lap top running Windows XP. The problem I got is that I access the internet at my hotel with one configuration and at work with another. I want to store two access configurations but I presently have to reconfigure to access the internet wherever I happen to be.

Want to run one internet access configuration for work and one for the hotel, ie., two stored configurations; one or the other to be called up when required.

Any help?

tutsiwarrior,

You don't say if you use different network devices for work and hotel or the same with different setup.

If you use different devices hardware profiles are the thing use -- look it up the XP help is good.

This is how you do it and once it's set up it's automatic :D

The same information in a different form

I use this all the time.

EDIT. Note that one of your systems must be using DHCP (obtain network address automatically) otherwise this technique won't work :o
