I need to go for my first 90 day stamp on a multi 'o' visa, I'm hoping todo it at Tha li, Can some one tell me if its possible to do on a weekend or does it have to be done during the week?

Do you have a visa or extension of stay with a re-entry permit?

If you have a visa then you must leave the country at the end of your 90 day permit and enter another country to get a new 90 day entry. Border crossings are open 7 days a week.

If you have an extension of stay you make your reports to an immigration office and those are not open on weekend or holidays.

Thanks Ubonjoe, I have a multi 'O' visa based on marriage which i got in march so its due for 90 day reset now. I understand i need to get visa on arrival for Laos when i go there, so needed to know the facilities are available if i go there at the weekend.

No problem to go on weekends they will be open.
