Ayutthaya to host next mobile cabinet meeting

AYUTTHAYA, 15 June 2013 (NNT) - The central province of Ayutthaya is chosen as the venue for the upcoming mobile cabinet meeting in July.

The meeting, which is scheduled for July 18-19, will focus on Ayutthaya’s bid to become the country’s water transport hub and to expand transport links.

The provincial authorities are also preparing to request additional budget for the construction of levees protecting river banks from erosion, flood control projects and the upgrade of tourism services in many areas.

The last mobile cabinet meeting was held in Kamphaeng Phet province, where a request to develop lower northern provinces was approved.
