Do it yourself auto supply store

Featured Replies

I just bought my 1st car in Thailand.

I need an air filter for my 2009 Honda Civic.

The air filter is very easy to change so want to do it myself.

I might need other supplies in the future such as oil filter.

Where can I find auto supply store?

Would be great if they can speak a little English too.

Thanks

Vagabond........Directly across the moat from Highonthai's suggestion is an auto parts store near the KODAK studio, on the corner. Father & son shop. Father is knowledgeable...speaks pidgin English....helps to take the old part with you. Good selection of lubricants, tools and replacement parts.

Also 200 meters North of the NE corner of the moat is another auto parts/hardware store. Owner speaks good English. If not in stock he will tell you where to go to find it.

Strongly suggest to always take the part you want to replace with you unless you speak fluent Thai. In order to 'save face' they will tell you 'no have' solely because they cannot understand what you are trying to tell them.

Good advise.

That goes for whatever country your in.
