macnmotion
Hi everyone. Found a dog narrowly avoiding traffic on my street. This is a purebred house pet, not a street dog. Has collar but no tag. Tried calling my 2 local vets but they don't speak English well enough to understand that I haven't lost my dog. Is there a process in Bangkok for finding the owner? I've got my housekeeper going door to door, just wondering what other options there are. Thanks.
macnmotion
The door to door routine worked. Happy ending! I'm still curious though as to a better process. Thx. Edited June 17, 2013 by macnmotion
justben
Congratulations on your success, surely made somebody happy. I wonder though were they not even out there looking for their dog? Around where I live people decide they cant afford to feed their dog and or puppies and it's off to the side of the road. Skinny puppies begging for food a pretty common sight. Another way is to make some posters and hang them up advertising you found a dog.
Cuban
Is there a process in Bangkok for finding the owner? I've got my housekeeper going door to door, just wondering what other options there are. Door to door was clearly effective - I wonder if the owner had the motivation to do the same? In the local area putting up posters would make sense but would it be produced quickly enough? Postings on Thai forums such as http://webboard.sanook.com/forum/ http://www.dek-d.com/ http://www.hi5.com/?loc=th_TH but needs to be done with pictures, sometimes difficult if you are not an established member and have social media skills. https://twitter.com/search?q=lost%20dog%20bangkok&src=typd Get a nearby Thai teen to do it for you.
