TEFL CERTIFICATE BANGKOK

Featured Replies

Hello everyone

So i have decided to take a TEFL course in Bangkok to get the certificate to teach english and I was wondering can anyone help me with suggestions which are the best courses to take in Bangkok i have looked online and there are so many offers , but i dont want to be scammed so looking for legit courses . If anyone reading this has taken TEFL course sin Bangkok recently would be great if you could provide me with a link to the the course which would be very much appreciated :)

We do not allow commercial links to sites, unless they are a sponsor.

Best of luck.

As was said, good luck. A reminder, it isn't a certificate to "teach English". It's only a certificate and most schools don't look at it as much more. You still need natural abilities to be a good teacher. To fill a slot so the school can get funding for same from Bangkok MoE generally speaking, you don't need anything, not even a native English speaking tounge. It's a wicked world over here, don't be fooled or scammed!

Try a CELTA instead.

TEFL is a very good start to the world of teaching English as a foreign language. For those of us who did not graduate as teachers, it was a great introduction to teaching our own language.

Certainly CELTA is a good qualification.

However, I think it is ever so slightly crazy to insist on a university degree of any sort, without having done at least the basics of the structure of the English language and some basic teaching practice, before teaching any level in Thailand.

I'd reckon to find a course, where they capitalize English, such as TEFL.-wai2.gif

Text and Talk academy!

Completed mine 3 yrs ago. Although I don't know if the program still runs in Bangkok. The web-site is fairly easy to navigate so feel free to check it out when you have a chance.
