June 21, 201313 yr Starting next year, and after my upcoming 3 month trip to Thailand in 12 day's time, i would like to spend 6 months in Thailand and 6 months in the UK...every year for the foreseeable future. So, i'm guessing i would require a double entry tourist visa. Can i apply for this every year, or are there any restrictions in doing this? Would want to be in Thailand April - Sept each year. The answer is probably obvious...but i can't find it.
June 22, 201313 yr Either a two or three entry tourist visa depending on your plans - 3 entry could be two border trips and no extensions so might work out better for many.
June 22, 201313 yr Best would be a 3 entry obtained before you depart the UK. The extra entry would give you more flexibility and would give you more time if you wanted to stay longer.
June 22, 201313 yr If it is only Thailand that you are interested in, and you don't want to travel around the region ... a double entry tourist visa will do the trick with extensions. Sometimes, a triple entry can be difficult to obtain, so make sure you read the reports posted regarding the embassy or consulate you are intending to apply for the visa at before pinning all of your plans to a triple entry. I would agree that a triple entry would give you a lot more flexibility should you wish to stay longer, visit other countries in the region, or whatever might happen. It is all pretty easy in your case ...
