PATTAYA:--500 Pro Thaksin Red Shirts and 200 White Masks who claim to be pro-democracy and against the current government verbally clashed in front of Pattaya City Hall on Sunday.

The White Masks gather in front of City Hall every day to sing the Thai National Anthem together at 6pm but on Sunday information was given to the Pattaya Red Shirts that a larger group would be gathering to voice their concerns over the current Government led by Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra who they claim is controlled by former Prime Minister and elder Brother of Khun Yingluck, Thaksin Shinawatra.

The Red Shirts were allowed to occupy the grounds of Pattaya City Hall without any resistance from the local authorities. A small contingent of Chonburi Riot Police, who were unarmed and not wearing Riot Gear were lined up between both groups.
