With a bit of interest on another thread about a vintage Indian Chief at Bang Saen Friday market I though I would point out the new Indian motorcycle company, which is part of the Polaris empire has just recently released a new 'V' twin engine.

A beaut. I've found big Vs not practical for daily living in Pattaya, however. Now I just admire from afar while glad I'm not having to find a parking spot for it or wait in traffic half the day.

So do I.

That is amazing! A S&S engine in a genuine Morgan. Must go like the clappers!

i had one of these in 1998,so i know where you're coming from:

Is that a Sportster engine in a home made frame? Basically what one would consider to be a kit bike. I say that as some things in America just don't see the light of day in the rest of the world.

It's like the Australian Drysdale V8. How many American's would know it existed?

It's the new one, been out since 2011. Yours for £ 25,000

Won the "Not-A-Car of the Year 2011" in Top Gear (magazine)

But as this is the bike forum in some countries because it only has three wheels you can "drive" it on a motorbike license.

Edit: We posted at the same time PB

"Buell Lightening X1" It doesn't have the sophisticated look of the later models, some of which were KTM (Rotax?) powered.

It would be an interesting experience getting that in through Thai customs and then getting a green book for it.

I suppose it could be registered as a samlor.
