Car stereos

Featured Replies

I've never seen a store that sell car radios in CM that actually let's you turn them on to try. Does one exist?

Yes Amyair ( on the Super highway ,road 11 ) opposite Makro .They have a room where you can try out the radio and speakers.

Thanks 'anto'. I'll check it out. Good selection?

I finally got to try a JVC stereo yesterday but there was a small problem with the display. When I try mp3 CDs I've burned the display scrolls only a certain amount of characters (25?) and it doesn't show the complete song title. There is other info in the first 15 characters like track #, CD title before the actual song title. My current player has the same problem but shows even less characters.

So my million dollar question is does anyone have a car stereo they bought in CM that shows the entire title clearly on the screen? Ideally it would show it without scrolling. I have space for a double-size unit like the DVD players but I have no interest in DVD viewing in the car. I only care about audio and seeing the CD info quickly and clearly while driving.

Thanks.
