I drove down the beach rd last night and notice lots of trees cut and palms being re planted with similar construction to Pattaya beach rd footpath, also all the traffic lights seem to be working for now, Soi wat boon, Chaiyapruk and on the Jomtien second rd.

I noticed last night they have blocked access to 2nd road at the overpass from Jomtien 2nd rd, there are signs there now stating only right or left turn, no going straight down to 2nd road anymore.

Yes its to improve traffic flow and prevent that narrow road causing a bottleneck.
