thai to english same day translations

Featured Replies

Tomorrow I am going with the gf to my embassy to apply for a tourist visa. Although English is not the official language I suspect they will require the Thai docs to be translated to it. So just to play safe, anyone knows a Thai to English translation service that can do it in the same say? They are short docs like a bank statement or job certificate. If around Chidlom area even better.

Thanks in advance!

There are many around Chidlom, well nearer Ploern Jit on wireless road. I used a good one in Wave Place on the second floor. Wave Place is the large building on the corner of Wireless Road opposite the UK Embasy.

Thanks for the info, appreciated. Do you have any idea on how fast they can do it? we are talking about 5-6 pages pages with few text ( statements and the like). We are already on the limit for applying so it should be in the same day if they actually require the translations.

Thanks again mate

We gave them one page and went for lunch and by the time we finished it was ready.

Don't listen to the touts outside the embassies.

But Im not sure if that one is still there - was about 2 years ago.

If not walk down to the corner, cross the road and there are more there but will try to rip you off. I'd go to one, ask the price then go the the next one and barter.

Thanks a lo Neeranam

Keep in mind that nowadays some 'translation services' just use google translate or similar.

Perhaps worth asking the staff whether they use google translate or similar and watch their reactions,

especially if they are insisting that the original document must be on a soft file.

Shop around. The price differences can be very large.
