Single non-immmigrant-o Marriage - Penang/KL

Featured Replies

Hi,

I've been searching everywhere, but unable to find any information on requirements for the Single non-immigrant-o based on marriage visa, as this can be extended for 1 year inside thailand afterwards and no need for a multi.

Is the financial requirements the same for a single and multi? And would a letter from my embassy saying I have at least Baht 40.000 income everyone month work the same way as showing a bankbook of baht 100k-400k baht? As the letter from the embassy is enough to extend it for 1 year afterwards. But curious if it work for obtaining the non -immigrant in Penang or KL.

Thanks :)

For a single entry non-o you will not be asked for financial proof at any nearby consulate or embassy.

Thanks for your quick replay Ubonjoe. Is this something you know from experience or have read somewhere? It would be a real bummer going to Penang and being turned down due to this..

It is standard worldwide that financial proof is not needed for a single entry O visa.

There are reports in the pinned topic for latest reports for visas at top of page for this forum.
