Visa needed when arriving in Suvarnabhumi and departing from Don Mueang?

Featured Replies

Hi.

I'm flying from Denmark to Suvarnabhumi airport tomorrow, and then on to Myanmar from Don Mueang airport the same day. Will i need any visa for that?

The last couple of times I have been visiting Thailand I have received a free visa on arrival - where i have stated the hotel I stay at and their adress - but this time i'm not staying in Thailand for more than 5 hours and will go directly from Suvarnabhumi airport to Don Mueang airport, so i'll have no adress to put on the application.

Anyone knows how to handle this?

Thanks!

You do not need a visa as you get a visa exempt entry. You can fill in the name of a hotel or simply leave it blank.

There is no applcation for a visa exempt entry. All you fill out is a arrival/departure card.

You could just leave address section blank or put any hotel name.

As Luccin in post #2 mentioned: assuming that you are a Danish national or of another nationality entitled for visa exemption you will not need any visa. (just to make sure)

Formally one would call this kind of visa a "transit visa" (because of leaving the airport for transfer).

Never heard, how Thailand deals with transit visa.
