Canadian visas for Thais new address location and process

The Canadian govt now out sources visas and other related services for Thai people. I posted below the new address here in Bangkok. Other countries like Burma, Laos and cambodia there are changes to the address and what they do. Can be researched on Canadian govt embassy in Bangkok.

Another side of this story is I have been here for over 10 years and when I first got here the Canadian embassy was the most corrupt on the Thai side and even the Canadian side was useless , I actuall went to the Australian embassy to get info and help once. That's how useless the Canadian embassy was.

I won't even begin to talk about how useless they were during the tsunami , I can't even begin to explained because most would never believe the level of incompotence, and if most of there staff had a job in the private sector they would have been fired for incompetence. But they are govt of Canada employes and they are not accountable for there action. it's like they work in a bubble out side the real world.

When I went to Canada with my wife and kids about six years ago it was a real f....king nightmare from the Thai side , they drilled my wife like a criminal and she was at the mercy of the Thai people looking after her application , until I went to the Canadian side and put in a complaint.

It was so bad at one point that Thais would go to Singapore for applications. I wont go any further in details because you won't believe what I am saying. and the things that went on with the Thais dealing with Thais there.

To there credit though they did change it and now they are easy to deal with they came a long way even with Thai applications the corruption and bullshit seems to have almost faded away good on them .

NOW why did they out source it going back to the old ways now Thais control the applications so I am sure for there application to make it to the Canadian embassy there will be bribes again or delays what is wrong with the Canadian people working there do they not know about Thailand .

I am not alone here I talked to so many Thais in Canada about what use to go on in the Canadian embassy it was embarsing .

So the canadian embassy , they just went from incompetent to competent To gross incompetence .

Let the bribes and scandles and corruption begin now that it is in the hands of Thais Will be much worse than it was years ago.

Visa Application Centres (VACs) in Cambodia and Thailand

The VAC in Cambodia is now open and ready to accept applications. The VAC is located at IOM No. 31, Street 71, BoengKeng Kang I, Khan Chamcar Mon, Phnom Penh.

A VAC in Thailand also recently opened and is located at Regent House, 1st Floor, 183, Ratchadamri Road, Lumpini, Pathumwan, Bangkok.

All temporary resident applications (visitor visa, study or work permit) or permanent resident travel document applications for anyone applying from Cambodia or Thailand should be submitted either online or through the VACs in Bangkok or Phnom Penh. More details

VACs coming in Laos and Myanmar (Burma)

It's worth pointing out that the staff in the Visa Application Centre are not involved in the process of considering whether a visa will be issued or declined, this process will continue to carried out by Canadian Visa Officials, the Visa Application Centre is no more than a conduit to receive applications and their staff play no part in the decision making process.

In the In the words of the Canadian Embassy "The use of the CVAC is voluntary. Such service may also be obtained directly from CIC, either at the Canada visa office located in Bangkok or by using CIC’s online application (E-Apps) system''.

The blanket statement "Let the bribes and scandles [sic] and corruption begin now that it is in the hands of Thais Will be much worse than it was years ago" is, in my opinion, unjustified.
